recommend me a flanger

not sure bout the japanese one. But so far for those that i have tried and owned, for flanger, its pretty hard to accept other after the paradox tzf...
But since i have not tried and prolly not much chance in my lifetime to ever try the ada flanger/mutron flanger/tycobrahe paraflanger etc, its just a one sided view i have for the tzf

but some ppl say the bf2 japanese is good. i dunno, it sounds ok to me.

if it sounds good to you, it SOUNDS GOOD!

quite subjective for effects even more so for modulations.

the no 1 question is, what is the sound that is in your head?

different people have different expectation.

Some like a SUPER SLOW rate for that gentle swirl that goes on at each count of 8.

Some like it super mechanical, swosh swosh swosh.

Some like it assymetrical(my favourite "tech" speak adjectives, sure can sell if use this word) swish swosh swish swosh.

Some like tap tempo.

Some like thro zero swooooosh till the horizon then dissapear then come back again.

Some are suckers for PAIN, aka EH Flanger Hoax users.

So many options. So many range. So many prices.

ibanez cf7 is kinda cool. any comments?

I'm a user of it myself, find it on the alright side, if you don't require a huge ginormous board to go along and you are the type of person who is using one modulation at a time.

CF7 has the whacked mod that makes your guitar sound like space movie theme! combine it with a nice analog delay set all the way long long, you get super spaced out cool!

whoa. sounds like good stuff

i intend to get chorus and delay some day. so i can play Angels & Airwaves

but....does it stop there? later like waste money.

but looking at subversion's review, it looks good.

thank you for reading. the CF7 is above-average but isn't the best around. for the asking price (that's before disct), it's hard to beat.

if funding isn't quite an issue, do check out van halen's MXR Flanger, a little costly, but worth the consideration:

MXR EVH117
List: $275
