After satay+rojak+meegoreng+bubble 'teh-o-peng'.. Ok no chicken this time around,
guess what guys? Who jammed with tania last night? And on zul's '57 strat some more!​

non other than our dearest fiona, i mean fgl!! - ​

down to earth & chill nite! Even had guitar talks behind the scene too
zul's really beat up but gorgeous fender & his japanese epiphone riviera mods,
and after all those years, how he managed to get his destroyed ovation back to life again..​

also asked me, what wood i use for my strat-o-caster?
Whoa he is really into tone & that tone he got is in the fingers man!
Us being boys, you know lah we get like easily excited with our toys like that.. Hehe​

zul's strat felt a little small (neck) and his vintg spec (71/4) fretboard & low action made me really on my bending style ...

tania is still soooooooooo good after all tis years ... We really enjoyed the two sets we were at ..

needless to say jaming with them, my old kakis, was shioks ...

TGM strat copy, i painted the headstock to make it more prettier. looks like fernandes isn't it?

the neck its orginal , i think because i used the pop art filter from my olympus camera hahahaha.

ya correct bridge changed to vintage style and using a S-S-S set up now with american standart pick ups. the tone its quite beautifull.

Yo guys!! The DIY in me is becoming stronger.. so... i decided to try the fabric top on my Ibanez. If i can get it up and running this month, u guys might be able to see it. If not, there is always next month. LOL. enjoy the first process pics.

next project.....a 24 inch by 24 inch wood block and top it off with a mahogany top........will post pics as i embark on it..so far this is a walnut/cherry/maple block..thickness of around 2.3 inch

Thanks bro. Anyway, these are the current progress of it with some lacquer. almost emptied a can and still no signs of the fabric texture going away... considering doing some black burst to hide the un-evenness sides. what do u think?
