Hmmm... this month seems to be ultra quiet. How about if we allow entries for concept guitars or illustrations? Buiding projects is very expensive and more often than not, it is cheaper to buy off the factory line guitars. After building one project, it is very tempting to build another, and another... till one day you'd realise that we would have too many project guitars than storage space... what then? selling them is an option but is very difficult for many many reasons...

So, model, concepts or illustration of a project would be the cheaper and safer alternative.

What do DIYers think?

i do not really agree.its a good suggestion on its own,but getting ur ass off to do ur dream guitar is a virtue tat not much ppl will enjoy. the danger of allowing illustrations as a entry is that all the end of the day,its jus paper with no action. n there might be a danger of ppl jus posting their 'big idea' but at the end of the day no concrete plans n in turn left to stagnant.....

Yea. Just keep it with real guitars. Illustrating a guitar is something but.. the satisfaction of building another playable instrument with all the DIY work put in, priceless!

I am attempting a fabric top.. i see if i can make it by the end of the month. Currently still waiting for the body that Bro eieo passed me to turn cream. giving it sun tan treatment everyday... :s
