Nice shots. Pictures a little underexposed though. Try and expose by another +1/3 or +2/3 stop and it'll be perfect.

Thanks! Noted! yeah. Im still trying to learn how to gauge the exposure correctly. Still a newbie in the photography world. I learned from doing video that its better to shoot underexposed and then edit to perfect exposure.. cause you cant make a over-exposed frame darker. but then again, i dont do post production on my pics.. so.. yeah. haha

Okay. BTT guys! sorry! haha

My Danelectro Hodad 12 string! Unique features are the blow switch (activates all 3 pickups) and the 6 way Varitone switch. Much variety in tone and get more sounds than my old 2 pickup Danelectro DC-12 string that I used to own. This thing is lovely. Can get the jingle jangle of the Byrds, Beatles etc...very chorusy indeed. I thought I was playing thru a chorus pedal hehe :P

wow.. i always wanted a 12 string electric!! if i wanna do a recording of stairway to heaven can i borrow please??? hehhe

dudelove: Haha, I`m coming down to Beez to have it setup this weekend and u can have a try at Stairway if u happen to go there haha...i`ll try to post a video of me playing riffs here and there and including parts of Stairway :P

relinquish: Got it from the USA, via Ebay :)

Anyway, I don't really think it is OT since other people who wants to post picture could probably benefit as well. Nothing annoys me more than people trying to use a handphone camera to take picture of their gear in extremely low lighting then blaming the camera for poor quality when most of the poor quality were contributed by user error. Proper technique can be learnt in less than 3 minutes.

Some photographers shoot somewhat underexposed so as not to burn out the highlights but most modern DSLRs have very good dynamic range so it is not necessary to underexpose. By using RAW (generic term, NEF for Nikon, CR2 for Canon)format, you can easily compensate those exposure levels then export them to jpeg.

Can't wait to take some photos of my gear as well. But right now most of my gear are still stuck on a boat, reeling from a 5 week journey.

Hmm. but RAW files are bigger no? My mac is running out of hddisk space, i cant even transfer the photos from my holiday into it. haha. time for a hard disk upgrade..

stuck on a boat? You're shipping them to somewhere?

Regarding the HDD, just get an external. Never a better time to get a HDD than now. You can delete the RAW file after export to jpeg so shouldn't be an issue.

I shipped them to SG from Vancouver. But because I chose ocean freight over air freight (air freight's cost more than 2.5k SGD) , it has took more than 5 weeks. Nonetheless, with any luck, I'll get them by this weekend. Fingers crossed. :D

Ahhhh okay. making a move back to sg eh?

haha. thing is, i prefer to keep all my data on my macbook. I've got an External HDD already. but its used for backup more than storing data.
