VDH and Cardas are making guitar patch cables?

Erm, Lava cable can make vdH and Cardas patch cables for you, using vdH cable and Cardas Golden Chord. So you see the black and gold plugs? Just replace them with whatever high and cable Lava is offering and thats your patch cable. I just chose Lava because they were more affordable than those other really high end ones.

Previously I used Evidence Audio Monorail cables with George L plugs. I got so sick and tired of redoing my cables due to a bad connection and they really were driving me nuts and I've ever had them crap out on me on stage so it really is a PITA. George L cable, one the other hand is better, since it doesn't have the solid core the monorails have. I've heard the Lava solderless mini ELC is much much more reliable, but I do not have space issues, and I just didn't want to take my chance with solderless again.

Anyway I didn't expect much change on tone, since EA makes great cables so the monorail had to be good. But there was a big difference. The mini ELCs keep more high end, resulting in more clarity and presence. I'd love to compare them to the Canare GS-4 since they are the popular choice here, but it'd be unfair from a price point of view.

I'd strongly recommend the solderless Lava mini ELCs if space is a constaint. They have great tone and it'll really be a worth while upgrade.

Look what came in the mail yesterday. Allparts TRO rosewood neck and Mighty Mite ash(heavy!) white body. Can't wait for it to be assembled. Watch this space!

Hahaha. I'd get it back to replace my s series. Can wait a bit. Get the hurfschmidt. I find that to be a better design than the b7.

i did.
bought them just to take photos with and be a display piece on a shelf

but dont disregard the fender mini twin, its a completely different beast compared to all the other raging 1W mini monsters out there.
subversion would probably agree here

I own the mini twin and it's adorable! Even the handle is made from leather and not forgetting the mini chicken head knobs

When I buy 10 patch cables, the amount I spend at one go just to rewire my board is really painful.. :mrgreen:
