haha taypeng81 bro, is that a natural relic? or was it done DIY? i've always liked relics. they seem to have a certain "character" about them. like fgl says, it has MOJO.

hey bro its a diy relic. but i stopped at the body and some of the hardware. too lazy to continue on the neck just thought i should play the hell out of it and let it relic on its own

me too ... i would prefer it relic on its own ... every scar tell it's history

or may be u can drag it along the road or on the field hehe to fasten the relic process.... ooooooops

i have a question to ask... whats the most suitable cable should use on wiring?
a wire with single copper wire (u often found it thick single wire)...
OR
wire with lots of copper wire in it?

eclipze : haha i just use heat gun and scraper and a little bit of thinner to clean up. then i kiwi-ed the dark parts.

finally completed it yesterday.. got the neck from eieio, brought it home relic abit, installed a tusq nut set it up to 13s and god it feels and sounds great... though the neck is thinner than my preference but it will do.. PICS!

i let nature do its job! yes i love relic les pauls. pity mine is in alpine white and has gold hardware. i wonder how it'll look like beaten up after a few decades. gibson uses nitro so, lots of playing will wear it down nicely.
