Partscaster/DIY guitar Appreciation Thread 2009

i have a couple of old bolt on giutars too, one of the advantages -
after 100 years can dump my old neck & replace a new one, diy economically.. hehe
 
here is another one..
after more than half a year, & its still in the making..

no money buy fender?

xlayar, we dont even have enough room space to store our guitars
let alone cut our own wood, anybody can cut wood but not everone can be a luthier
anyway if u see the thread title, its an appreciation thread for partcaster/diy/karangguni style.. hehe

anybody has any tips on how to route for a floyd rose setup on a strat?

piece of advice do not route ur strat for a floyd unless you get someone pro or you set it up dam dam well. If not u will experience loads of problems in the future.

If you really want a FR strat go search for those 80s strats that come equipped with one.

same here, will try put up pic of my old neck
ive seen some date stamp on the heel of japan necks
mine has something which look like a '95 stamp but got no country codes..

:D
