That is why i won't allow anyone under 21 to be in my band,after knowing they are emo. They will grow outta it. Aiyah,just ask these emo kids to listen to Beatles or Kiss,their soul will be saved if they can listen to Beatles. :wink:

problem really is differentiating those who are pretenders and those whom really have depression problems.
The only way you can really tell is if you know the person well enough which cant be said for the general public

That's why I said that emokids give the image of Melancholics a bad name.
So much so that its indeed hard to tell the difference between a genuinely depressed person and a person "suffering" from Emokid-ism.
For all those of you normal teens out there who spot emo fashion , if you complain how society tends to generalise you as one of those cut my wrist slash my throat kinda emos , then I only have one simple advice for you......
STOP SPOTTING EMO FASHION!!!!
