its a pity that certain genres of music is tightly associated with its culture... its rare to find someone who likes music under the emo/punk genre but does not fancy the emo/punk culture...

or for that matter, even metal, grunge, pop etc... so, if people hate the culture, they will be inclined to dislike the type of music associated with it too and vice versa... such a pity but most musicians have big ego... haha i'm not excluded...

to be humble like john petrucci or pual gilbert? or to be egoistic like yngwie malmsteen?

Some will turn to be successful businessman or what or even teachers.
I mean. Changes are inevitable and u know it.
And i'm pretty much sure they will go back to their own roots or change to be someone better of a whole new level of maturity.

But i guess imo, we should just leave these emos alone for now. Who knows? 5 years down the road, they'll turn death metal to the new "emo" or something. It's all a matter of conforming to trends.

Slash04 bro.. Its already happening.. Some emo kids have turned "emo Death metal" with bands like job for a cowboy (wa they damn gay also). There are a few bands like them which plays "emo death metal". They have emo riffs in their songs!!!
