I actually had a thought about something just now but I can't remember it.
Eyes-covering fringes started wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy before this emoTREND sprang into the recently, we all probably should know that. And because the trend is so well-known and the whole "how to be emo" things circulating about, people with fringes covering their eyes often get teased about being 'emo'.
I witness this EVERYDAY in school. I pin up my fringe because I am suppose to have some responsibilites but there are a few people I know who get talked about by many. Of course, they'd laugh about the comments about cutting wrists, as a joke, but after awhile, it is really... You get what I mean.
And the thing is, they're not even doing/listening to anything related to 'emo', except having their fringes covering their eyes (which had always been like that since who knows how long!).
Some would probably say, "go cut your fringe!"
No thank you, my hair is precious.
I've been labelled emo many times because of my fringe.
I'm just waiting for the whole trend to fade away. I think the retro fad was rather short, probably because emo overshadowed it.
But we should always remember, a fad comes, goes and comes back again.
remember those aviator shades?
