i feel damn disappointed i got the vip tix.... i was at the front....
i bought a guitar strap thought i could get the band the sign it....
i really feel wasted....
i waited at the hotel until 12.30++
in the end me and my fren said forget it....
juz go get our money back from LAMC....
i really feel damn wasted....
i got the intro video...
whole thing....
i will post it on youtube when i got the time....
anyway.....

only tt the sound tt day really was not tt good and my ears are still ringing....

i was at the right of the stage...damn could not see derek.....
i wish i got their autographs....

everytime when i was about to ask a signature from an artist, i always ask my collegue.. should i interupt him and get his signature? my collegue would reply me with this.
What does his signature means to you? What can you do with his signature?
if that rings a bell in you to cool down n think abt it.i hope i've helped.anyway i guess u aint e worse kid out there.. there is this guy i saw.. carrying a guitar in a hardcase! a brown hardcase.. poor him.. well even if you dun have any signature, you got urself a good memory rite?

ok last thing i need to say about the sound.. i realise it could be the cable's fault but it is highly possible of the lighting's fault! i'm pretty sure the power supplies are not grounded! that hiss is caused by sharing of overloaded powersource not grounded. coz during the sound check.. light isnt on.. so powerloading is still fairly ok.. malmsteen didnt get 2 check e lights and gt to leave.. when e show starts, e lights are on! wad's worse is, lights and many other electric appliances are infact very noisy! trust me.. (Gr3y studied electronics engine) anyway.. yup i'm pretty sure they are caused by the lights! but not e crackling sound though..crackling seems really souly by the faulty cables on the ground..it sounds juz like when our live cables are being plug out of a guitar! so most prob its a connection error.. which water in this case could be a real suspect.. anyway.. enuff of detective story.. nites nite...

who cought the commotion wif some white lady screaming off something bout "look wat the bitch did, i don care! call the police!!"
then she stormed into the stage tent again,there was some commotion and we guys outside @ fence cheered for some action!.
dont know wats going on but i was damn sure that our man malmsteen came out we cheered but he didnt even wave and seem to notice, and his steps seemed a bit wobbly, and some guy was on his left heping him o the VIP van.
seems a bit drunk to me..? that s why no meet session.?

then DEREK WALKED OUT THE SAME WAY AS THE AUDIENCE MAN, when he exited at the main entrance, i could see some "WTF..is he derek?!"- faces.

then he waited at the zebra crossing.
anyway derek mentioned something that "this is not my rig. ....i used the trion extreme..."( its a triton studio at the gig)
kinda figured, cos obviously his signature A-stand , two red Nords and extreme are all not there. its hardly a derek set up.
i went to see him actually, not much of a yng fan actually.
derek walks slowly, and always with a white towel. he swipe his sweat almost after every song halfway thru the set. maybe he cant take the singapore heat. very friendly wif the fans. i'm still abit star-struck..
and yea, his groupie looks hot...a local....?

On topic, I had a good time. Sound was shit as usual, I now expect this at a gig in Singapore. Crowd was very tame, me and my buddy where headbanging no less though. I admire Yngwie for sticking through it - I woulda kicked a mic stand and gone home with all that shit going on
. He really is a performer - had problems, but stuck it out for the 'peeps'. Whoever was on the smoke machine should be stoned to death.
I got Johansson's sig on my ticket stub and had a little chat with him. He was adament that they had a good gig, despite the problems.
When the bitch started screaming and then Ross came out and threw his cup I assumed it was something with the organizers. She stormed to the Merch stand and said "Gimme all the Merchandise!" and walked off with it...When she came outta the tent me and my mate where still standing at the rail, so being the English lout that I am I had to holler some abuse.
I don't think Yngwie was drunk - as far as I know he is sober since a while. I do think in his boots though that it was hard to walk down that ramp - Derek slipped a little as well!
Overall a fun night, I'm glad I didn't pay for VIP tix though!

Anybody especially typical women (even men) like me will have more or less such uncontrollable feelings for an artiste that one would admire so much. It may seem irritating to many people out there, but it is normal, it is an unexplainable personal experience.

I may not be an expert like you all who know every single detail about Yngwie and his band. I may not be so musically inclined like you all. I don't even know how to sing, not to even mention playing a simple instrument. But, I do not just support Yngwie and his band blindly, I am in fact still trying to learn as much as I can about this wonderful musician and Rising Force too! Slow as it may be, but I'll still do my best whenever I can!!
I'm really sorry about the off-topic, I just want to get my point across (not trying to seek pity here), even though it may just be some piece of shit to all of you.

All I know was I was being myself and stating things with an open mind. I was only showing my appreciation in my own ways, sharing my happiness and experiences to all. I was nearby (I just waved and said "bye bye"), I could hardly see the team inside cos it was so dark (so that they won't be recognised easily?). So many people didn't bear to see them leave! I heard someone shouted "sign!" (the person meant "please sign" I think). Didn't know what happened cos there were so many people crowding around as I was short too (bah)... ^^'
