metal will always thrive..........

metal will never die....as long as agression, a basic human instinct continues to thrive, metal will survive on. It creates the agressive and excitement and vibe, yes yes yes?

So metal lives. but then again, its how you define metal, and alot of people these days dun have a single clue on what's really metal and what's not.

what I see is this.

Metal will not die even if you think the metalcore bands are poseurs..I mean,Metalcore is something new in the Metal palette. but it doesn't define Metal in it's entirety.

Genres are a big pile of pubes(everyone goes labelling their music in order to sound intelligent...for me,genres are only good for labelling in a CD store...out of the store,I name the music by the band coz y'know...no two bands will ever sound the same...even the shitty pop crap)

...and Metal is music,not a trend...only trends die out.

Here`s my 2 cents......

i guess metal is dead "in a way" cuz there`s no other new bands that came out under " heavy metal" genre nowadays..... (pls correct me) there aren`t much new bands that come out with the riffs like the OLD metalica used to....

Regardin bout the nu-metal topic....
I think nu-metal shuld stand up on their on (own indvidual genre) cuz sometimes they sound like punk

^ you sir, need to listen to Opeth well,at least that's a one good example of good metal bands around. and they've been around for a long time too. and the vitality of Metal or any music genre isn't based on new bands,mind you. it's more of the good bands that are still around,IMO

Seriously, what the hell is death core and job for a cowboy. It sounds so gay. Death metal is death metal. why do all the hxc kids have to make deathcore? One example, job for a cowboy. They have hxc riffs, and they use fake vocals. Pathetic death metal wanabes. This is just my own point of view, any disagreement with me does not matter. :x

Metal will never be dead, not for another thousand years ^_^ Because everyday, there will definitely be new people who start to like the music genre metal. Be it influences from friends or other stuffs.

All these new bands jus have something missing in their music...n dat`s wat i meant by "metal is dead in a way"
