Love that song. Was a band by radioactive (i think) if you go to the compass website, you'll see the singer there.

As for Kick! think the singer kenah fined for that infamous celebrity drug case right? with cheryl fox and sheik haikel?

The singer 'Jai' ??? Or was he the guitaist? I can't remember liao.. :p

Hmmm...

How can anyone forget The Pagans?

Twang Bar Kings anyone? They uploaded all their stuff online and its a good chance to hear their music again.

They are still around but no longer active. They had a short stint as Star but never performed.

I was informed that the drummer, Edwin, still plays however.

ahh yeah, star or was it modstarr? I remember having a track or 2 from them in a compilation

time to put on pagans cd on the stereo and feel young again!

any band of any genre of music,

so long as they can play well, perform good lives, have a decent fan base
and most importantly, being humble.
so long as a band can do all that, and still be humble, im sure these will
be the people that everyone in the world would salute.

RUDRA fits all of the above haha

they performed at the Substation Garden(now Timbre) as Starr. I was lucky enough to catch them that one time.

My vote for bands that have influenced me in any way (in the 80'-90's) to made me want to be in a band or play geetar, drums, bass or contributed in some way towards my musical growth are for the following

- Turquoise Flame -
- Candle
- Global Chaos
- Tri-Ryche
- Heritage
- Tania
- The revelations (my father's band last time..heheh)
- 42nd Street band ( My uncle's band last time)
- Hansen's disease (my elder brother's band last time)

and most importantly,

- CLUB 27

Dang....... I wish I went.

I remembered that their guitarist used a still pretty desirable now blonde Epiphone Sheraton and he didn't have a hardcase/gig bag for it. Those days these things were RARE man.. hahaha....

and they had mics mounted on their kick drums into a sampler manned by another guy.... pretty minimalist kinda stuff but it was pretty enchanting then....

Yeah ballz, nowadays everyone has a gibby hidden in the closet, back then, if you had an epiphone sheraton, you be drool daddy

Fortunately, I actually got a copy of the starr songs given to me with their artwork.....hee hee
