Yup. The Lizard's Convention. They had some very easy listening and catchy tunes back then. I really liked their songs too :smt041

How come Electrico get missed out?
hehehehhhe... yeah, actually the list is for bands that really touched me in certain ways. be it personal, musical, technical, emotional or otherwise... and its a personal list. that is why i dun have ronin, or electrico, or xxxx band here...

i was a part-time student in 1995 to ???? i left and joined NAFA instead. i saw forced vomit performed in 1996 when they got booed by the audience coz they dressed and performed funny. to the audience anyway... i loved them then (and now still!) coz they were different. delicious mix of surf/rock/punk/dangdut/dikir-barat styley...

any band of any genre of music,

so long as they can play well, perform good lives, have a decent fan base
and most importantly, being humble.
so long as a band can do all that, and still be humble, im sure these will
be the people that everyone in the world would salute.

Adrian of Rocket Scientist is currently recording some stuff with Ben Harrison from ETC.

Nigel Hogan of The Mother is back singing again, this time with IF.

Esam is putting the SR album on hold as Ahmad is flying all over the world playing for WOMAD. Instead, he's starting recording for his side project, Slowjaxx Does Dallas first. They will be playing next Monday at Bar None.

As for Throb, I know keyboardist Ying is v. busy with work. Hope she still stays in the band. Dharma told me the plan was to start recording at the end of the year. Hope they get down to it. Ray still owes me a breakdance!!!

Finally for B-Quartet, we are planning something for them. Hopefully, it runs through. Will keep you guys informed.
