Oh no no no.. I wasn't referring to Lennie. I was referring to his lead guitar player. A rather plumb guy that doesn't sing as much as i can recall.. The hofner guitar was the one that lennie played or the other guitarist?

yup, he did! if i'm not wrong it was in the papers. and definitely documented in Big-O. the song was "Radio Station".

Geez.. That song really touches me back then.

My Brother recently saw their CD "NIGHT" on sale in Cash Converter and bought it!!! We actually lost our copy some years back due to passing the CD around. thank God some guys threw it back to C.Converter and my brother luckily picked it up! IT's FATE FATE FATE!!!!!!!!!!! hahahahah :p

Still, anyone knows what Chris Toh uses while he was in A.W.O.L? :p hahhah I'll never get over it. :p

i salute

Strange!!! I can see from these list, nobody seemed to be aware or cared too much about bands that actually had lots of airplay and had won awards....I see mostly(I have to emphasize again; "Mostly") "underground" bands mentioned here?

Hmmm...which brings me to think; If Singapore's music scene, generally speaking, has always been trying to steer clear from recognizing "Pop" or "Commercial" bands....Hmmm?

hmm

How about ESP?

For peace for peace..ha was a scrawny lil p6 kid when that came out on Big O. even remembered there was an music vid

Hi hi Triphopbob,

I can't speak for the rest but for my listing, I think a couple of bands did have a good run of airplay.. eg: Oddfellows, Padres and Concave Scream.
There used to be a radio station : Passion 99.5FM who played lots of Concave's songs too. :D

I can't recall much about award winning bands here though.. maybe I hadn't been keeping track on the recent bands as much as before..

Maybe you would like to share your list as well? :)
