guitarists and bassists, how often do you lose your picks?

lol, i kinda lose them all the time, especially at home when im practicing

ive lost over 20 picks, most of them being jim dunlop. they would always somehow end up under my sofa. i found about 5 of them last year which i bought ages ago...and i lost them again..

I place the new ones in a pick holder and the one I'll be using between the strings of my axe...that way, me won't lose any picks...

never lost mine either.

mine just get very worn out & need replacement. or they were given away...

i have never lost a pick, and even if i lose one i wouldn't notice..i've got a whole basket of picks(my frens bought for me to see how many can i actually use)..lol and my picks always get damaged instead of lost, so the basket of picks is finishing quick.. :(

yeah.. i do lose them in studios occasionally.. but like subversion, my stubby's just get damn blunt and rounded...

yea i used to lose loads of picks last time when i first started out guitaring.. so irritating! but now nv lose picks anymore.. dunno why also heh

yay for stubby! this is the longest stubby i have, 2 months in and still with me. i sharpen the ends after getting a new one though..

Hmm.

haha.. stubby user here too... somehow allows me to get pinch harmonics easier... maybe the way I hold it?

But I use picks as bookmarks, dirt scraper etc (not for my stubby of course) so I tend to lose them rather easily.

eee. never bought one bcos of how it looks. maybe i'll go buy one tommorow and try.

Hmm.

tip: I use the triangular ones... more surface are to hold.. and it's like a triple stubby! I'm not a fan of the tear-drop shape myself. Triangular picks rule!

haha i dun loose picks.. i got a jim dunlop pick holder and everytime after playing i'll make an effort to stick it back! there are a whole arsenal of picks there for me to choose!
