How many of you changed your playing when you pick up different guitars?

Why the hate for actives? But then again you guys aren't metalheads, I'll excuse you for that.

Hate? no hate from me... EMGs have their own uses. And it's not necessarily for Metal only.

No hate for actives on my side either. I'm not a metalhead but I do play metal, and I can do it with passive pickups, so I'd stick with that. I don't need batteries to run passives.
