Guitar amps.

This reminds me of Monster Magnet axeman used a bread toaster as a pre amp...he built his own !! Good ol' pink eyes...

virtuoso u say....

marshall would be a good pick. why?

even if u turned down the mids, there are still f***ing mids!!

u need the mids to cut thru the recording instead of raising the volume..u would get drowned in the lower freq, so stay in the mids!

less than a thousand....i've played the JTM45 tube amp and kicks ass esp when u have the effects to drive the clean channel(the only channel)..if not, u might want to listen to the DSL series, shouldn't fare too badly either..

hope it helps!

Thanks alot! But I'm looking for more like both clean and overdriven amp. Cause I like to play alot of scaling or "noodling". lol

From your initial post, it isn't really possible to have a do-it-all amp.

The amp may be loud enough to drive your neighbours crazy, but not quite possible to track nicely at that level even.

500 - 1000 bucks would set you up for maybe a line6 or tech21 amps, which imo....does decent bedroom tones and the line out for recording will suffice. Hope that helps.

For those who are willing to wait.....
