my LesPaul Studio's pickups stay where they are (maybe for now) haha.
very satisfied with the sound. lol i duno why but got people comment on the guitar having the 'perfect lamb of god' tone. LOL :S

no love for gibby pups here. swapped out the pups in my SG and LP stds for Harmonic Design Z-90s and WCR American Steeles. Experienced a quantum leap in tonal improvement. Where the gibbys were congested, nasal and plain-vanilla, the aftermarket booteek cork-sniffer pups were loaded with rich, sweet tone, phat dynamics and juicy harmonic overtones.

but then again, one man's meat is another man's poison and all that. i just wanted to rant abt gibby pups. other than that... it certainly is true that nothing comes close to a gibson

cos they can't believe all the good reviews and need to find out... is it true??!?!?!? haha.

Only downside is that they're pricey. I've paid more for all the WCR pups I have than i have for some of my guitars... and I don't have that many sets of WCR pups.

The reviews have always been how good, blah blah blah... But they never explain why good. Sometimes these reviews are like a taxi driver telling you a honda is good because it's better than his crappy toyota crown. And it's full of gushing praises, but less objectivity.

What about comparisons? How do these COMPARE to the stock Gibby pups? What's the key that makes these different? Assy winds? Magnets? How dynamic are they? respond to single notes vs power chords?
