greetings everyone! thanks for the 108-page 2010 photo album. hope you can contribute to this 2011 version. the fundamental guideline here is to keep the pics as big as necessary & as small as possible (bandwidth issues). this is not an avenue to show off (maybe it is... he, he...) but a visual reference to what we own. i find it useful because we get a chance to see the gear from a different angle in addition to that offered by the product manufacturers at their respective websites. sometimes this affects our purchase decisions, yes?

Ah. Well here's my first contribution.
After 2.5 years my board FINALLY underwent some changes.

In 2010:
I changed my Fuel Tank Jr to a Cioks Shizophrenic.
Elite Tone Fuzz Monster retired.
Z.Vex Fuzz Factory newly purchased.
Pro Co Rat acquired again, last time it was on my board was 2008.

I hope 2011 will hold LESS changes. I was happy to have kept my board the same since 2008.
Plus I made the small board on the top left of the PedalTrain as a grab-and-go mini board. Can be part of main chain or out totally!

Ibby RT450!

Ibby RT450, acquired in Dec 2010 :

Great sounding guitar! Nice neck, too. The bridge is pretty solid, but the push-in bar is rocking inside the slot and is especially obvious when playing the 12th fret on the high E string. Strange!

Tuners changed to Sperzel staggered locking tuners. Thinking of switching to Gotoh Magnum locks as the 12:1 ratio of the Sperzels is making fine tuning a little painful.

Volume pot changed to Dimarzio. Also have a parchment pearl pickguard waiting to go in there. Can't wait. =)

bro- consider a lighter set of tuners as well; these are great in promoting tone. too many locking units are simply massive despite being effective. these kill tone & contribute to neck heaviness.

Do you mind explaining what you mean by heavy tuners killing tone? I've not heard of big tuners affecting tone a lot before. Thanks!
