to be frank... the ec-50 is decent enough la guitarnub... but he havent played the 400 series one la.. haha...( i waiting for the day u sell ur ex or the H) and (damn u on the 5150)!!!

but anyway.... why the ec-50 actually? with that kinda money... im not sure if its still there... but theres the 30th aniversary ec at davis... thats imo is a good buy

im gonna replace the 85 in my LP neck with a 60A.
the 60A is the alnico version, sounds even warmer than the regular 60 which is ceramic.
and put the 85 into my humbucker only floyd rose SG

now does anyone know if the 60A is available?

well judging from the sound clips on EMGs site, the 60A does sound fuller than the regular 60.
guess the alnicos really help.

i guess even the regular 60 would do, but if i can find the 60A i would get it right away.

hmm sorry.. i am new to this.. but what if i wan something close to a metal tone? and which can last longer. im planing to do more upgrades on the guitar. for example changing the pups n stuff..
