EMG pickups?

I would say if you want something that last longer.
the ibanez.

just invest on a better guitar. dont change things around too much.
and for a metal tone? simple. chuck in EMG 81s on both neck and bridge positions.

hmm but my budget for guitar is around 400 - 500.. with emgs upgrade would be another additional 300. n maybe a roland cube 15.

but im not sure about what guitar to take . thats why im here asking for more options.. or maybe guitars tat are already equiped wif emgs.. at around 800?

if your looking at guits that are already equipt with EMGs.
i'd suggest you head down to davis.

check out those LTDs or the lower end ESPs.
you might just find your match.

but be sure to check out other shops as well.. esp music theme the one behind davis.

hmm but i checked with davis.. they said they only take the -50 series for the LTDs.. whereas for ESP.. the lower end guitar range from what price?

Sounds like a case of not enough $$$.

Dude, get a good guitar first. Bother about the pickups later.

You are new to this (duh, your nick :D ) so just get a nice guitar, a big amp.

Then play and explore LATER.

You wanna get everything now, you have to do what I did. I got my Ibanez S520EX, Dimarzio Breeds neck and bridge, and a Marshall MG30DFX. All at once. I spent hours everyday, for like 2 weeks, google-ing, yahoo-ing, just searching up reviews, reading up forums, on this and that and this and that, before I decided to get those.
And I had a budget way more than yours...

So really, get a guitar and amp, don't think about the pups YET.

You like the LTD EC-50 so much, you read enough positive reviews about it, just go get it. Extending this thread by another 10 pages, will add more headache to you.
Don't get the Cube15, get the Cube30.

ltd ec50 counted a good guitar? but a cube 30 cost around 400. but i dun intend to haf a good amp at home.. but better production when i go to jamming room..so shld i still get the amp rather than pedals? any better buys rather then the ltd? maybe i can push it up till a budget of 500 - 600..

The problem with emg's is that they are such high output so would drown out lets say a duncan 59. Plus emg's use 25k pots which come with the pup of course. Get my drift?
(louder)
