nice track btw. But the delay part and reverb part actually still sound pretty different to my hearing.

i though you were refering to using delay as reverb or vice versa.

heres my sorta definition of delay and reverb mixed together. Instrument used is guitar and couple of digital reverbs and delay. Although it doesnt sound like it, the clip was done with a mild overdrive, delays, reverbs and parallel blending. No synth or keyboard was used.

haha, mess up dry signal, some prolly wud call it warm tone, sparkling amost like taking off blanket etc

delay cut into playing, no mix knob or repeats that can be cut down to at most 1 repeat or mix of 65 dry, 35 wet etc?

anyway, somehow i find that whether to let delay repeat ring out or muddy(regardless of analog or digital), the picking hand dynamic and position of where it is, play a big part. Something which is simple, but seem to make a big different when wanna make the delay sound clear or wash out.

wahahah, yes... thats the awesome cool thing about opinion right? I shall shove it down ur throat nonetheless that mess up dry signallll is suxxxxxxxxx!

Yeah, the picking dynamics play a big part especially for digital delay - with analog delay, it just breaks up and distorts more, along with some vol boost lah...

Oh! I thought you were asking about an example that shows both different sounds. I meant that when used live, it's easy to confuse both. But in the studio, it's much easier to tell them apart...

Nice soundscape... I could still tell you were using delays though... Can hear the very subtle repeats...

heh, coz deep down, iam still a guitar player, the parallel blending was at about 95% wet and 5% guitar signal with delay. Didnt whacked all wet plus having some dynamic control on plucking hand to get texture and colouring within playing one instrument, but wanting to get 2 or 3sounds going on at same time

oh, heres something on moddng EH memory man. But i think its more to the old style mm. Not sure how it can apply to DMM. But theres a schematic of DMM in it too.
