+1 for the deluxe memory man ....onlything i dun like is its need for a seperate power supply and its large footprint...

my next Delay pedal will be the bloody MOOG delay la (i got a thing for big delay pedals)... after trying chris's Moog delay and murf... im uber tempted. the Murf Esp... fooking trippy sial

OEI CHRISTOPHER... DUN SO BUSY LA

I just use whatever does not mess up with my main tone coming thru...

Some delay pedals, the moment they are on, they mess up your main signal. Muddies it up. Darkens. Brightens. Ugh. Crap.

Some delay pedals, the repeats just cut into your playing, makes it all sound messy and stuff... ugh... yuck.

That said.

Analog (real deal analog) delays seem the most unobstrusive. Digitals are nice for when you want the repeats to be heard but they just cut into the playing for anythign else...

Oh.

1 delay isn't enough. 2's just nice and 3 is a great variety.

dont be greedy now shreddy ....2 is all you get !!

Me and my big mouth:mad: ...its gonna pretty trippy goin all 2 in 1 !!

Aiyah Goose...

I just might.

Let me decide if I am giving to a friend of mine for his bday this month or I'll just pass it to you.

IF the combined might of the 2 EM5s rock hard enough. ;)

haha, mess up dry signal, some prolly wud call it warm tone, sparkling amost like taking off blanket etc

delay cut into playing, no mix knob or repeats that can be cut down to at most 1 repeat or mix of 65 dry, 35 wet etc?

anyway, somehow i find that whether to let delay repeat ring out or muddy(regardless of analog or digital), the picking hand dynamic and position of where it is, play a big part. Something which is simple, but seem to make a big different when wanna make the delay sound clear or wash out.
