My first foray into listening to Jazz, Jaco's good, but the musicians that play with him on the album are equally good as well. A pity that all music geniuses die young...(Hendrix, Jaco, Cobain,SRV)

-> kank_39: yes, got it through Roxy records on special order. it's available @ HMV but at a cut-throat price. john5's latest release is on a new label so expect to pay a little more, yes?

i'm a sucker for good guitar works, regardless of the music genre. to me, it's educational. how many CDs do i own? too many actually 8) my wife's not too keen with too many CDs as opossed to too many guitars...

Jane - III (70s prog rock w strong hard rock/blues vibes)

David Torn - Prezens (lovely cutting-edge guitar-electronics-jazz!!!)

just bought the 'Unripened' Velvet Underground & Nico album from Roxy. The first recordings which were rejected and were remixed/re-recorded for the 'proper' album released in 1967.

very interesting and essential listening. This is one of the most important albums of all time.........

Echo & the Bunnymen - Porcupine (classic indie-psych from 1983)

Music & Lyrics soundtrack (some amazing wonderful POP songs in here.......)

Krypteria is awesome.
Good CD to get if you're into symphonic/gothic metal.
