That sounds interesting bro, I'll definitely get the DVD combo since I haven't got the cd yet, although I have, errrr, downloaded the whole album..

Get it then! I got sick of waiting for local stores to stock them. Then I found out about the CD+DVD so I got it without 2nd thoughts. Definitely worth it.

here's what i jus got :D

Machine Head's 'The Blackening' reignites my interest in the band. i'm only interested in one other release by them- their debut Burn My Eyes. to me, everything in between is more struggle than appeal.

You don't like "The More Things Change" and "Through The Ashes of Empires"? I thought those were pretty good. For me, "Through The Ashes..." was a return to form for me for the band. In fact, I actually kinda like "The Burning Red" as well.... Just that "Supercharger" is the shitty one for me.

Somehow I feel that Robb Flynn can be quite the follower of trends if you look at this musical moves. Now that he feel that guitar solos are coming back, he really put in tons of guitar solos in "The Blackening".

The Blackening is surely one of the better metal releases this year. it's a good representative of what Machine Head should be doing- ignoring the current hype & making serious music.

Just bought from Inokki...

Megadeth - United Abominations
Marilyn Manson - Eat Me Drink Me
Seraphim - Ai (English) and The Soul That Never Dies (Chinese)

wouldn't it be great if this tread is 'expanded'.Instead of "cut n paste cover arts of cds that i just purchased',softies can post the inner cover artworks etc ?Of course the music counts the most. But in these days of mp3's downloading, the packaging of an original cds play a great part too.
:D

More pix means more bandwidth used also.. Later site owner not happy, understandably. Anyway my latest purchase:

Latest album by the undisputed king of metal, in my opinion of course. Did not excite me enough on 1st listen but hopefully its a grower like the Puppetmaster.
