(can't find the album art for this)
Enighted - Icon

Awesome technical death from France with slow, doom-esque rhythms that transition to fast, in-your-face breaks that smash you in face, run and then come back for another round when you least expect it. Had a listen to the sampler at Inokii today and immediately picked up a copy. They're signed to Osmose productions, the same label Annorexia Nervosa and Enslaved are on.

is it any good?

yeah definitely. very different from Waking The Fallen. more like City of Evil era. but they have this one song that's totally strings and brass, vocals and drums. and there's this other song in which they used those ol skool synth. i highly recommend. buy the one with the MVI, it has all the "making of", of the album. i felt so enlightened after watching that.

hahah yes, you definitely should. Dhalif loves the album. the reason why he really bought it for me was because he could borrow it. hah.
