don't worry bout what happened last night man, one thing's for sure is that you guys are freaking good organisers. you guys are diligent, serious, responsible & professional with what you all do. KEEP THAT UP! It's evident and people have realised that, and definitely more will come. I believe yesterday was one of those murphy's law kinda days. where everything was planned right, and it just went wrong. ignore people like taylor for their "mature" comments. people make mistakes, what's important is to LEARN from them. *no gigs at gashaus anymore please* haha

hey thanks for your understanding guys. we really appreciate it and promise that the future events will be alot better as we usually handpick venues and speak straight to the owner. but in this case gashaus requested our assistance and knowing that it would have tarnished our name we should not have offered it.

well gashaus did not provide us a proper explaination although they simply said that it was complusory for first drink, the cover charge was for a first drink. but from there, one could infer that it was because they were running losses and simply cannot be bothered with the reputation of organizers.
i mean. im not saying anything but i feel very scapegoated right now as they have tarnished our name from putting the cover charge for first drink. and it is damaging to our reputation but it is no loss to them as they obviously have none to begin with. so it goes like. heck the organizer, let him get all the gunfire and we'll just run away with the cash.

Hey Cave or visa or whoever, now you know right? Not easy to organise gigs right?
Its not always a smooth going thing. Shit always happens and bands and people who go to gigs ALWAYS complain.
Orgniser will always say its not their fault and bands and audience will always think that the org are con people.
I still think that you shouldnt have started that "minimum gig tickets thread"
to head line the existence of your Organisation.
I'm not saying that you people are baddies or anyting.
But it just makes your errors(no matter how small) go right under the microscope.

haha.. i guess yea.. i mean it might have been a miscommunication on both our parts but we are very sure and have sms'es to sherry [ the owner of gashaus ] ON THE DAY ITSELF which said that there was no cover charge. but in the night, it was a different story. it is hard yes, but we tried our best. so we have no regrets on the show. it was a learning experience and we would not hold gigs at such sketchy venues which do not even provide solid black and white statements.

mm... i think the problem with organising gigs in pub like gashau is they're running a business, in order to run a healthy business, they need income. they can't afford to have 100 people in their pub for maybe 5 hours without earning a cents and still pay for their rents and bills.
I guess orgainser must take note of this. there's never a free venues in Singapore for organiser to organise a gigs. is always a 2 way thingy, both parties (organiser/venues owner) must profit for something. what gashau did was to provide the organiser their venue/equipments/entertainment license for their gigs. this make things so easy for so many organiser which is why we see so many gigs without proper planning/standards.
Always make sure of everything in place and get everything in black and white so that things like this wouldn't happen. to be a good organiser means you need to be professional, is quite useless to come to forums and apologies cause not every music fans is a soft forumers.
all the above is just my point of views as a ex-organiser, keep up all your good works and get rid of the bad one. Professional is the key words.
