I started this site about 10 years ago. Learning how to use HTML, Photoshop, FTP and multimedia stuff along the way. I had about 10 years of community service in my teens. I also learnt, taught and work in music for 20 over years.

With all these combined, I have only 1 vision for SOFT - a better place for people who are interested in music making to come together and share knowledge.

When you started this thread, I know you have the interest of SOFT at heart.

Now that Levan has stated that he would not return to SOFT, I would like to put this episode behind and move forward.

You have to follow a strict set of rules in this community. You have no say in the formation or enforcement of these rules. You can be banned without explanation or warning.

I'm glad that this issue seems to be headed for mutual resolution and that James has come forth to share his side of the story. As is appropriate, I would like to extend further apologies to him if I came across as confrontational in my earlier posts.

I suggest a periodic change of moderators. Reshuffle the pack so they won't rest on their laurels.

Be it every 3 months, or 6.

Moderators are not to be too pally, which would ultimately influence decision-making.

Each candidate for the post of moderator is to be heavily scrutinised before being officially appointed.
