People were asking for Postcards, so we ended up mixing both the songs up impromptu!

That is amazing! Mixing 2 songs impromptu.

Did you guys have problem hearing yourself on stage? Cos the vocals seem to have problem pitching.

oh the stage monitoring at the esplanade powerstage was amazing, i think we were just exhausted from going a little too crazy throughout the set; we played almost twice as many songs.

In my opinion, the genre differences is not really an issue. This is basically a battle of musicians. Who is a better guitarist, vocals, drummer and also bassist- and the tightness and technicality as a whole. I believe both bands have their potential and I believe they are ready thats why they actually consciously signed up 4 this competition- [tho things kinda sounds cocky at times] This actually kinda test the musicianship of all the individuals in both the bands. This is really interesting coz james didnt tell exactly how they should present it so it counts up to both band's creativity as well. I am really looking forward to the materials that they will be producing. So genre is not an excuse in my opinion. Goodluck to you musicians.

how about 2 sections to the compeition, one part will be playing their originals. and another playing covers? Either the same agreed cover, or doing the other bands cover.

Then more publicity will be brought to it. More people will check out Armchair Critic and Wormrot.

I am 100% sure after Astroninja had their video talking bad about James publicised here, many many more people than usual went to check them out as well. Whether it be other videos or their myspace account, they still received a hell lot of attention.

And attention is usually a good thing right?
