Any pedals that can REPLICATE a Mesa Dual Rect type dist?

OMG!!

thanks for the Contributions!!
let me do alil research of the mentioned pedals i'll GET BACK TO YOU ALL!!

EDIT:

okay, So i looked thru the list and

-The V Twin in that review was horrid might be his EQ but wasnt what I was looking for

-The Runoffgroove Uno was way too thin, likely to the the EQ again but sounds sandy
http://runoffgroove.com/uno.mp3

-The Electrictabs pedlas seem to me custom made pedals so im guess that would Cost ALOT for resistors and a breadboard

-I couldnt find any images of the Toneczar Openhaus but wiring diagrams again.

-The AMT California was maybe closer? but there was only 2 videos of it on youtube and didnt really help

I'm also doing some research on artist such as Brad Delson, Wes Borland, Killswitch Engage, Nickleback, Norma Jean, P.O.D, Sonata Artica, Slipknot and so on

A majority of the listed artist use 5 PRS guitars, 3 Caprison, 1 Ibanez

Maybe the only way is to actaully get a Mesa head, but how would you bring that around to jam sessions?

ALTERNATIVELY~

The Boss GT series which im assuming to be the closest

Oh, and I actually don't think the Openhaus cops a Boogie Dual Rect tone...it's like in btwn a saturated marshall and a boogie, with the definition of marshall distortion, but liquid sustaining quality of the boogie. shiokanathan bom pee pee I tell you.

The best way if you really want a Mesa tone is to get a amp simulator like POD XT or something. I dont believe a pedal can replicate a Mesa tone, some more a Dual rect.

My guess that since Roland and Boss are kinda Working with each other now and the amp im using is an old Roland cube, it should be the Closest sound to what i have now.

It's not the pedals... It's your amp. You want a big, open tone to your crunch. The Roland amps don't give that. It's something rather flat, and neutral. Very good for pedals, but somehow, the tone is difficult to capture on recordings. You want something with Celestion Vintage 30s... You need a tube amp and/or rectifier. (doesn't have to be MESA) I'd suggest you sort that part of your chain out first. Like for example, a Laney LC15R, coupled with a 12" closed cab with a vintage 30 speaker. Then plug an MT2 to it...

P.S. Roland owns BOSS...

leecs... personally, I don't really dig the recto model from the PodXT. It's just too loose and fuzzy sounding no matter how i tweak and I'm using headphones! I like the JCM model though. Super mean! :)

Anyway to get a recto tone... I suppose you can try to get the amp. Go blackwood and try out the single recto there and see if it is what you want. Hearing studio or... even worse... youtube recordings something may be decieving.

If you still want a pedal, my recommendation goes to Righteoustone Fang.

erm... because that's what a recto actually sounds like? Ever played thru one before? Every MESA I've tried has that big open loose sound. That's very much what I define as the MESA sound. If you want something big, open and still focused, then try a H&K Triamp. That's very good.

If you want something tight, the Solo100 model on the XT would be good.

thot chanmin was echoing ur earlier opinion... what's gonna be the next big dist box shreddy?

and I agree...openhaus vs line6 ubermetal and MT2...well, ya know....

No no, I'm not disagreeing with him. Hee Hee.

We shall see we shall see... wait for it on TGP...

Dude! When i heard the samples i literally went O_O
Where can i find this pedal?

I used to own a Pod XT Live and none of the Given amps and preamps were to my liking, i tweaked every single part of it from the Signals to criss crossing and gate or whatever, they all sounded like they were coming from behind a wall or under a blanket

Yeah I know but it's just too loose. Very much unlike the recto's that I've tried. Personally, i feel that's one of the models that has rooms if not halls for improvement. I seldom touched the Solo100 either. I went with the J800 model most of the time when I still own the PodXT.

Triamp? Heard a lot of good things about it but never had the opprtunity it. No shop has them.

Order straight from the website. Alternatively, you can try Mo-en Violent Metal. It is sort of a chinese clone of that pedal. I believe G77 is the distributor for Mo-en.
