No, no...if you're playing an electric guitar, with cool amps and everything. It would be strange to be sitting on a chair strumming as if that electric guitar was an acoustic one.

This is VERY true. So many young guitarists wannabe like their heroes and thus imitate everything down to how low the guitar is, without taking into account their own physical makeup/limitations.
Whats next along the line for such ppl who endure difficulty in playing a low slung guitar?
Get ready for some pain, then more pain, then a lot of pain, then no more guitar playing for the next 6 months.
