Mr Tony Zee just spoke to me, he says he regret that he is unable to attend this meetup which he would really love to as he has to gig for a Wedding at Sentosa at 5.00pm tomorrow (so he can't rush there in time - if he is at Ulu Pandan) and told me to send his warmest regards to all you drummers here.

Mhd Noor was truly inspirational. Personally, I was awed by how humble he was and his sincerity in sharing his knowledge. His percussions influenced/incorporated grooves were amazing. Especially his side-stick with fingers ghost notes. His knowledge of tone and dynamics was amazing.
Some of his advices were so spot on. The importance of keeping time, understanding what the other musicians are playing and adding color to the music.
