Who here don`t use effects at all?

Hi Monopolist, the modtone dyno drive meets my gain needs I would say. Adds some dirt and edge to a clean sound (I find this effective with my Tele). I use it to boost Goose Mod Boss Blues Driver pedal and I step on my DD when I need a thicker tone. There's nothing I despise about it. Just pure simple tube overdrive pedal :)

Yar man.. Seldom use efx too.. Just have a Beta Aivin HM-200 and Modtone Vintage Analog Delay to throw in some crazy and nonsensical sounds for my own hearing pleasure at home late at night.. Going for a BD-2 soon..

Other than that, straight to the amp, or even for most of the time, just my humble little samick acoustic guitar with a set of cleartone strings.. Sounds nice enuf imho.. ;)

I don't often use effects. Quite often it's guitar>amp. Occasionally it's guitar>OD>amp. I only own one pedal, an OD. Less is more for me. ;)

I think using less (or none at all) effects has something to do with my genre of playing, which is classic/blues rock. Yep, going back to basics whereby guitarists back then, crank up their tube amps for that overdriven sweet sound and that sound is sufficient for me. Perhaps a little reverb might be useful : )
