Seriously, you NEED to play and be familiar with both their styles(like me)before you can make an informed judgement.

I suggest the next open jam session we shld do Megadeth and Metallica songs!!
Cos, IMO.. Since everyone knows their songs, either Metallica or Megadeth, why not do it?
Since the non-stop debate over here is somehow between these 2 bands, why not see some action instead of just talk and talk.. Don't be a N.A.T.O (No Action, Talk Only). :wink:
Ppl keep dissing abt Metallica and Megadeth. But when asked to play their songs, excuses are poured out;" Cannot lah, solo hard, riff too complicated, etc, etc, etc". EXCUSES and EXCUSES. :evil:

i agree with Vaiyen 200%..
Dave riffs and choice of notes are diff to execute...
Rust in peace is one hell of an album...
i stop listening to metallica long time ago..
imo the Justice album is the best for me...raw energy ..
as for solo..Kirk is a gd guitar player ..but he is not my hero..
i prefer Dave solo..as its kinda weird..the chromatics are just his trademark..
although i think he can play better than that...he just wanna be diff thats my guess...
so stop arguing and play Hanger 18 or Blacken...
on the topic of bands that shld unite...Marty shld return to Megadeth man..
and Alex shld return to Testament and the James Murphy shld return to his old band (cant remember)
