I think I'd like the Uni Valve though tthere's only so much you can try from ty. it does have a built in attenuator and u can try so many different tubes. Not that U'd be changing tubes during a gig, but just for self shiok

I think the best ways to describe amps would be in terms of tone. Modern/Vintage/British/Tweed/Combo/Head/Speaker Size/Speaker Number/Wattage/Solid State/Tube and finally, BUDGET!

I think its hilarious that when a kid comes on to ask for pup upgrades - the advice given is get a better amp. Not just any amp. A Toob amp. And heck, I don't care if you got a budget of $80 bucks and you're only on the $40 mark right now after 4 months of saving!

I guess the context is necessary and (duh) relevant.

But frankly dude... who cares? Get a caparison coz they have 27 frets!
