However, in the event your epi truely has serious tunning issues... then well, please try to figure out whats wrong and spend a little $$$ to rectify it.
Flying V? hur hur hur~ I don't have a Flying V leh... and don't give a Flying F about them too.... The only pointy guitar I'd love to own is an Aria Urchin.
But seriously, I find Epiphone guitars OK. Not great, not the best but OK.
Is it me or is the zhng my car trend coming to guitars now.. 1st thing you should do to your guitar before anything is the same as when you get a new car.. Do your run in 1st. Then once got some mileage, learn how to maintain your own guitar, like cleaning, tweaking action and intonation. Then once you know your guitar well enough, then zhng. Where got people lup turbo on brand new car one?
We all know Epi has compromised on a few quality aspects so as to offer it at an affordable price... takin this into consideration the end user should look into possible upgrades if required to taste.
For example if the pick-up does not perform
1) you can a> pot the pick-up with a mixture of parafin and bees wax, if its mirophony ...read here
2) adjust or tilt pick-up to alter response by having it closer to the high E and twice the distance away from the low E, this will sort out most dark sounding pu with instant brightness.(one coin high E , two coins low E placed inbetween string and pu top surface as thumb rule gauge..)
3) if the above does not wok for you >> look into replacing with pu of choice. Read more abt this here
and the best mod to LP, break the neck, convert to bolt on and dig out some wood, put in fake floyd and finally, break the humbucker into single coil..
yeah, one of it. Supposed to be some sig series except that its the lowest of the lowest end series of japanese artist sig guitar. The original ESP offering more stylo. Even got a 335 type with floyd rose
