If the grain is nice, I'd go with a nice sexy dark stain. Dark cherry or walnut. Yummy..

dats the thing ... IF I removed the existing finish - donno what kinda grains the body has ...It looks like it basswood though so I wouldnt expect too much ....

Its a superstrat with pickguard. I was thinking of cherry sunburst with white pearliod pickguard...
