My new practise guitar

Ized: thanks bro

Dime: lotsa 2nd hand bodies & necks there - in fact Dan is clearing out stuff coz he needs his storage space. Time ...that I mite not have bro

Im seriously thiking of adding the following: any softies have these?

1. Schaller or Jim Sunlop strap locks - chrome in good condition.

2. Wilkinson Vintage 2 hole strat bridge (as sold in rankin sports)

3. Fendwer Am Std style string trees.

hey Farid,
how's it going... maybe can perform some guitar smashing if required too eh...:)

oh yes of cos i remember, we traded pickups b4, sold u a super distortion b4 also...

haven't got the chance to bother u again to drill that 4 holes on my new replacement neck also...

anyway, i tried dimarzio air zone on bridge position lately on a SSH strat-style guitar and am pretty happy with it... splits really nicely to mix with the middle single coil on 4th position (it still retains the mid when split) and nice vintagey tone on full bucker mode, less the treble shrills...

very nice, it looks juz like a traditional humbucker, not the modern look. maybe can consider on next project guitar...

BTW i am using the wilkinson 2 point trem... always a fan of it, i like it very much...

cheers

Just a short update - I brought this axe out last night for my gig last night. It was a swanky jazz / latin gig (The red Cross ball) so I was playing several styles.

To my surprise, the tex mex pups & dual sound humbkr really sounded sweet. In fact the actual tone & set up of this axe qualifies it to be in my stable of "gig guitars" rather than just a practise axe.

I guest even cheap guitar can sound good if you upgrade important parts

I am the lucky one to get this guitar. Some of the pics I tool of this beautiful guitar jazzed up by fgl.
