Greetings friends

just a gathering of the semi/ hollow body guitar players here. share what you own, maybe tell us why you bought it...

i own:

after owning too many solid body units, it's actually good to hear amplified acoustics. i'm not a fan of acoustic guitars per se but my hollowbody AF105 inspires me to play/ think differently while playing...

i'm using Ibanez AM73.

Well... mine is more beautiful then the picture after minor cosmetic upgrade
- Changed the knob into gold classic tophat knobs.
- Changed the pickup ring to cream.
- Changed the pickup selector to cream

And the pickup changed to cream color Pete Biltoft's Vintage Vibe humbucker size P90.

I simply love it.

i'm using Ibanez AM73

when i tried the AM73, i just can't play anything slow on it. despite being a polite incarnation, it screams 'shred!' to me...

My Rinton (Thailand) handmade carved maple semi-hollowbody, with Bare Knuckle "The Mule" PAF 'buckers. Tone pots modded with large orange drop cap.

Why I like it? It's lightweight and sounds damn good.

hey fenderben the powertrons are supposedly a hotter version of the filtertrons right? how do they sound compared to the filtertrons? =] also, is yours a pre-fender gretsch or a fender gretsch? care to share how it performs? i heard that pre-fender era gretsch have severe inconsistencies in quality..
