Wanted Man! Shoplifting at SV Guitars.

Yeah the first thing that i noticed about the SV in penin were how close the guitars were to the entrance. I even thought that it would be easy for someone to steal the guitars as the entrance was big too. Anyway, i think stealing a guitar has angered most of us here haha, so good luck to the guy. I'll keep an eye out for it.

yea perhaps the counter could be put near the entrance instead of the guitars?? that'll deter more thefts from happening. but this was really unfortunate. :(

Ok guys,
Assuming that guy looked educated (well, he did know his guitars), he's probably a smart guy, and you guys DO know he will probably be a little worried and can easily do some googling if anyone might be talking about him?
I searched "Guitar shoplift singapore" and this post is right on top, along with 3 more other posts.

(He's probably seeing all these posts and planning how to remain eluded, but)

So, anything you say here, he'll take into consideration.

Hey Mr shoplifter,
I hope you sleep well with what you did. If shoplifting is fine in your mind, taking something that's not yours, and thinking you deserve the guitar, it'll just be the start of the rotting of your soul and morals (if you have any). God forbit someone do something horribly similar to your own possessions or something more valuable.

And by the way, may your children have no backside.

Mike, perhaps u might want to ask around the shops near urs such as Zen Guitarworks, Dan Enterprise or the one manning the store selling t-shirts, chains, belts in a showcase...they probably would have seen this fella with a guitar..

yeah i agree. it is very likely that the shops along the basement has seen that guy with the white guitar since he just took it like that.

Still. Singapore is so small. Shouldn't be hard to find, especially if you have the right contacts... Hmm, maybe can check with delivery services if the guitar got shipped out? Doubt it though...

If that guy needs money why must he steals the guitar when he can run with the cash register? hahahaa wat an ars!!!

HAHA. This thread has all the funny replies you could never think about!

To SV,personally i feel that retrieving back a stolen guitar is as hard as finding a needle in a haystack( a huge one actually). Well, nothing much you can do now other than file a police report, Treat this as an expensive lesson learnt and a reminder for other guitar shops.

I personally feel that one staff has to be on the lookout at all times, always leave one staff to look after the shop and another to tend to customers/phonecalls. This way it reduces the chances of any thieves and besides if someone passes by your shop too many a times for a quick glance, you can be a little prepared.

super smart guy, he freaking look at the camera for so long and still dare to walk out of the store with a guitar in the hand???
he dont even bother to wear a cap or something?
sure kana caught one

never tend a shop with one staff on duty.. always have minimum 2 staffs.. so if one is bz with customers and etc.. the other on duty will keep a look out... ;)

and once again stomp proves itself to be a place where ppl who have nothing better to do just go there and talk crap w/o caring what others think of them :)
