Guys i just found out tt Singtel has won rights for UEFA n Champions league games from starhub. Tt means next year starhub cannot show matches from this leagues meaning u will have to buy n install Mio to watch this leagues , starhub will only show EPL. The price of the box is the same but if u only get one like Mio for example u cannot view EPL so ull be forced to get both. This will apply to everyone.The cost of both is going to hurt ur pockets!!

it was not long ago that starhub JACKED UP SUBSCRIPTION RATES. and back then they had some PR tell us that the price increase was to ensure that their bids would be successful. now as usual, the lay man suffers, and whatever we were told when the prices went up turned out to be a lie.

i don't know which is worse; the plight of football fans in singapore, or the sheer lack of credibility and disregard to customer satisfaction

in the end its probably our own fault - for putting our faith and money in a SHADY local corporation like starhub

M1 should start another and screen FA cup matches only. And another channel should be started for away matches. and espn and star sports show only the home games. then can collect set top boxes and pay over hundred a month to watch the matches. I bet the UK folks would laugh if they hear about this. Skysports is all they need for football matches, and its not only local matches they get.

Oh and for mio, its like scv, you need to have a basic 16buck plan or sth and sports on top of that which wont come cheap.

this should have been done when starhub inflate subscriptions...

free-to-air TV can bid for these games too but from a commercial point of view, it's not profitable enough. note that Italian league matches are airing on Ch5- but who's watching?
