The Bassist's Effects Line Up

yah. i had to sell off some of my items to get the pitch factor.

its essentially a pitchshifter, and its a bitchass one. got delay, got fuzz, got filter, got octaver, got sequenced wah, got arpeggiator, got midi in/out/usb. may even cook rice.

i haven't even begun digging into this futhermucker, but i'm v impressed with its really super clean sound. studio quality. i love crystals mode (got chk out their demo at the eventide site) but so far don't see a use for it. i'll prob use the octaver, synth and the pitch shifting.

i'm one more dubstep closer to the reese bass.

i was just at Blackwood and saw the Eventide Modfactor and *something*factor, both at upwards of $600. i can't afford all the three "factors" even if i sold all my gear. :(

RR,

How the tracking of the octaver in the pitchfactor? What's the lowest note it can track?

i'd reckon it can go really low, since digital tracking is so much better.

anyway even if i had the money to buy 3 eventides, the GAS for other pedals won't go away....

you could sell all your pedals, your amp, your bass.....

then you can use the eventide as a rice cooker

Dude screw the Maxon AF9. Get the 3leafaudio Groove regulator. = P

not what i need right now.

i thought i could use something like the subdecay prometheus or the AF-9. the filter sweep controls look useful and simple enough for me to use.

and SCREW the AF-9?? :o omg... the groove regulator looks sharp though

I've had the AF-9. Despite what how many regard the pedal, I didn't really like it. Found too subtle for my liking which is weird since everyone seem to compare it to the Mutron. Maybe it doesn't take active basses well..

Have replaced it since with the Groove Regulator which I'm liking a lot.

ok... from the clips it seems pretty all right to me. i might pick one up provided i can rescue one used from japan or something. that will save me a bit

there's a mod for bass?? i was thinking of just using the stock one for bass, will there be any problems??

btw, where can i get my hands on a barge rc-3, shinobi?? thanks :)

from barge's site or ebay store. occasionally you can score one in the buy/sell forum
