Bass counted?

i had a tele and a somewhat tele, ie. godin radiator, then sold both to get a strat.
one piece of plank, tho a much thicker one ie. my LP, is good enough :P

and nope, i dont miss them one bit...

nah, i set up the godin nicely so it feels very nice.
decent low action of 2/32" on both sides on a pretty flat neck.

the guy who bought it from me is now using it over his hank marvin strat :P

hey guys anyone have any idea how they get that sweet tele to sound like that in the Eagles "hell freezes over" album?

Dimarzio or Seymour Duncan in the bridge? Sounds like something I may want to look into.

Dimarzios. I don't know the specific model but Dmarzio has 4 rail-type pickups. They are all hotter than your typical telel bridge pickup though so you are bound to lose some of that traditional tele sound. Perfect for me though.

But you did mention earlier on it was still pretty bright.

Which is very reminiscent of my Dimarzio Fast Track 1.

Guess I'll go ask around more elsewhere and might consider it in future. :) :)

Ya to get that kind of fuzziness at the edges* only the boutiques* do it.

*see the hair?
*think the hair business.
