probably because they're part of china (where almost everything is made nowadays)

maybe also because of different business strategies. i heard most chinese businessmen policy is low profit, high volume. seems to me its the opposite here

It's all whether the country wants to control it's population and how they manage it.. I have to give it to our gah'ment though, they have done quite a good job all the wa from our idependence.
