Suhr Guitars

Great workmanship, great tone and some of them looks great. Tried a Classic and that was the best damn strat I ever layed my filthy hands upon :D

both are top end guitars but sadly no resale value in a market like Singapore. Our market is just too small to create huge demand for
such guitars. The mass market brands like Fender/Gibson custom shop
models still hold their value way better.

If buy to keep for good then its ok lah.

Tylers are super nice... but hate the friggin "LOOK MA! I'M HOLDING A TYLERTYLERTYLERTYLERTYLERTYLERTYLERTYLERTYLERTYLERTYLER!" headstock

Well-said, edder!

And the 'vomit' look - takes some time to get used to it.

well no point buying guitars with good resale value unless ure somewhat a trader of sorts. for me id rather spend on a good guitar no matter what the resale value. it is the initial value of what ure paying for which matters.

true if u wanna keep the guitar. but be honest, how many times has GAS hit you in the last 12 months? we are fickle....admit it.

International buyers might be a hassle but it's way better than local buyers from my experience. If you're talking about resale value of course 8)

frets looks scalloped no?

gotta wear leather pants with this guitar to ooozzzzeee the fury... i mean tone out!

Old thread digger!!!

I bought a Suhr strat (on order) last year, but could never bond with it no matter how I hard I tried. So I sold it away. Recently I bought a used mid-80's MIJ Fender strat just because I like the feel of the neck! I did some serious mod on it, and now it plays, feels and even sounds better than my previous Suhr. And overall cheaper too. To me, it's a real keeper. So IMO, not all booteek guitars are necessarily good or suitable for you. ;)
