i think it's pretty sweet that his parents came to each show.they show the support to him.
and i dont feel him fake at all.and he never tries to act like hardcore.
he's just 17 yr old teen kid.

But I kinda don't agree with you there bro, i read one of his interviews and he said he's gonna take this chance to commercialise "Emo"... Or was it "Goth"?

There are 2 things that bug me abt that
1. He's just another guy following trends. Dont get me wrong, i like the guy...
2. We don't need more people commercialising "Goth". MCR unintentionally did that IMO... We don't need more black shirts, red ties or/and eyeliners in this society...

Anyways, subcultures are who you are not who you want to be... 8)

well,i havent heard that interview,haha.yeah,it's true we dont need that many black shirts and red ties or everybody dressing like Gerard Way or whoever..actually im kinda getting tired of all this kind of stuff.
Paul,maybe just a teenager who likes this kind of thing.maybe he's chasing the trends or maybe he really loves it.but thru all the performance he gives,he seems like an honest and cute funny kid.that's why i like him.about the songs he sang..hmm.coz that show needs ppl to sing songs like that..yeah..so he couldnt do too many things related to what he really loves.

johnathan's getting a little stale as well. he seems to be forcing/trying too hard. like pretending to be someone he isnt.
hady's the best singer in this competition.

i think Jon's overrated,i remeber when i watched the piano show recap he was not the guy who impressed me but Paul.
Jasmine's so average..not the idol type.
Paul's really performing in a natural way when he's on stage,that's a good point.
my fave are always Paul&Hady,id love to see them in final 2.

why i always think Hady was the guy who i met last year at Bar None Bon Jovi party?hahaha..dunno.

Cause everyone knows that emo isnt hardcore, but most metal is. Thus i get the conclusion that the person who wrote that is trying to say that paul acts like he's a real badass but actually listens to mcr etcetc

I sincerely hope the Joakim supporters aren't serious. I think Joakim deserves a break cos it's not his fault he's still around, it's Singapore's. But no matter how much you say that SI is a popularity contest the Idol still has to be able to sing to some extent and Joakim has a great personality, would be a fantastic host/actor but he is not suited to be an Idol. Idol can't just have a good image, come on...

joakim agreed with flo when she said he should have a dignified exit by giving a thumbs up. so SINGAPORE! OPEN YOUR EYES. JOAKIM WANNA GO OUT. save him the humiliation and shame. stop voting totally for him

yeah man...what the hell happened...but the main reason i'm watching S'pore Idol now is to see Paul and Joakim go...so the journey goes on to see what other talents are kicked out just to keep these two..

Nope, but i saw on one of the episodes, Paul was wearing a jacket with Anthrax, Ozzy and Anarchy patches. There were a few more but i can't recall what they were. I think it was the week they had to perform rock stuff.

Paul's a faker. Make no mistake. And I can't fakers. There's nothing worse in this entire world than people like him.

think about when you were younger,you did sth maybe that you thought cool then but after a few years you considered it very stupid.
and it's true and it always happens,i bet everybody has been through it.
just give this 17 yr old a break,he wants to wear Ozzy,just let him do it.
a teenager should just be what a teenager is like.i think it's pretty natural.
