cos apparently its very damn hard to find one there too.
i dont think they're making too many of them.

even musiciansfriend dont have stock, earliest expected in is 14th july...could be much later.

lol theres this scratch at my truss rod cover leading to the edge of the headstock on my sg. i keep thinking that my headstock will snap now (paranoid) -.-

Hmm, this comes in late but better than never I guess, my other wine red Jr. which has been with me forever. It's a '66-'68 type, serial numbering back in the old days were messy..

Note - I'm not much of a gear head and I could care less about looks but I love this particular guitar to death; especially the neck - complete upper fret register (before Gibson started making SGs with neck joints about three frets up & it's also not neck heavy), one piece mahogany body and very very light. It's also very beat up and finish worn and it feels like home in my hands.

So everything is original (pickup, witch hat knobs with markers, bridge, etc) even down to the tuners, removed vibrola (pretty much useless). I wish I could describe the kind of tone when I turn everything up to patent pending but you've just got to hear it :}

PS: Just checked, yeah, there still is and with shipping only a little above 1k. Probably can find cheaper ones aswell.

the cheapest SG Special i could find was 86,800 yen..
And thats about 1.1k..
Plus even if i get from there, theres also the cost of shipping too =(
