i been wanting to get a SG too..but lookin for entry level brands.. is SX or Samick good? SX is more affordable though..

between those 2, go for the Samick.
i have only seen Samick TR1 and TR4 here, never yet seen a TR2 or TR3.
TR1 is priced similarly to the SX SG, as in the set neck SX...not the crappy pirate series or whatever.

if u do see a TR2, get that instead.
the TR3 and TR4 while SG looking to me veers more towards PRS territory.
