Does anyone here have an Epiphone Elitist SG? It's a pity they're discontinued! :???:

i got a orville by gibson anyway.

btw, looks like my next target is this.
its a good thing i didnt buy the regular epi EJ-200.

Different bro.. The '61 SG Elitist is darn close to the Gibson '61 Reissue, and many say that Elitists can take on a Gibby anytime..

The Elitist has a different headstock, ugly, but still the entire guitar (from clips) sounded spectacular.. Different pups, and truss rod cover as well..

And they got a customised hardcase for them elitists, with the interior coated with nice plush purple.. Haha.. :mrgreen:

i dont like it either, reminds me of the 80s / early 90s korean epi headstocks.

actually i wouldnt mind the SG '61 VOS...its even closer to the actual '61 with correct body/neck joint...of cos the price...

wat u mean dont have? i see a few.
and they're even cheaper than 'orville by gibson'.
from what i see, no one is willing to pay more than USD700 for them.
the black one below is a relist, failed to sell at USD699.
another one before also failed at USD699.
hopefully he'll have better luck at the current USD599.

meanwhile orville by gibson i have seen them sell for more than USD800, almost the same price as a used gibson standard.
